Atatürk and Education [Çeviri]
Education is the most important vision of Atatürk. He regarded education as the force that would improve the nation into social and economic development. For this reason he once said that after the War of Independence, he would have liked to serve as the Minister of Education. With pencil or chalk in hand, he personally instructed children and adults in schoolrooms, parks, and other places.
As to Atatürk, success in education depends on the teachers. New generation, who has an independent reason, knowledge and conscience will be the achievement of them. The value of the achievement is measured with the skill and self-sacrifice of the teacher. The success of the teachers will be the success of the Turkish Republic. They aren't only the experts of their branches, but also the guides who prepare individuals for their social roles.
Briefly, Atatürk qualified the teachers as 'the most self-sacrificing and respected people all around the world.'

Eğitim,Atatürk'ün en önemli vizyonudur.Atatürk eğitimi Millet'in sosyal ve ekonomik olarak gelişmesi için bir güç olarak görüyordu.Bu nedenle Kurtuluş Savaşı sonrasında,Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'ndan hizmet istediğini söyledi.Elinde tebeşir ya da kalemle okullarda,parklarda ve diğer yerlerde öğrencilere ve yetişkinlere bizzat dersler verdi.
Atatürk'e göre eğitimdeki başarı öğretmenlere bağlıdır.Özgürce düşünebilen bilgili ve bilinçli bir yeni nesil öğretmenlerin eseri olacaktır.Başarı ve becerinin değeri öğretmenin özverisi ile ölçülür.Öğretmenlerin başarısı Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin başarısı olacaktır.
Öğretmenler sadece kendi branşlarının uzmanı değil,aynı zamanda bireylerin sosyal rollerini hazırlamak için de rehberdirler.
Kısaca Atatürk öğretmenleri,Dünya'nın en saygın insanları olarak ifade etmiştir.
