Windows 7 kullanmak için çok çok iyi bir bilgisayarınızın olması gerekmiyor, orta halli 1 ghz işlemcili 1 gb ram olan bir bilgisayarda da çok güzel ve performanslı çalışabiliyor, bizzat dell dizistü bilgisayarında denenmiştir herhangi bir yavaşlık ve performans düşüklüğü görülmemiştir.
